EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Kamal is the Chief Executive Officer of Osool, which manages approximately 10 billion USD across different asset classes globally. Mr. Abdulla has over 21 years of experience in the financial sector and investment operations. Since joining Osool in 2014, Mr. Abdulla has held several leadership positions and played a major role in Osool’s success. Mr. Abdulla currently serves on several boards; he is the Chairman of SICO B.S.C (c). and Vice Chairman of Bahrain Car Park Company (Amakin) B.S.C. Mr. Abdulla graduated from the University of Bahrain with a BSc in Accounting, and he is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and he holds a certificate as a Certified Associate Professional Risk Manager (APRM), and he is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Mrs. Sara is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Osool, where she leads the Investment and Asset Allocation functions. With a strong background in finance and private investing, she has played a pivotal role in overseeing various Investment areas, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Debt, during her tenure as the Senior Director of Investments at Osool. She joined the organization in 2013 and prior to joining, she was a Private Equity Analyst at (GIB). Throughout her career, Mrs. Sara has demonstrated expertise in private investing, sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring fund managers and investment opportunities on a global scale. Mrs. Sara serves on the board of a London-based Real Estate Company, Ageila Capital Management, Amlak Real Estate Company, and Al Malaki Specialist Hospital. Mrs. Sara holds a BBA with a concentration in finance from George Washington University, USA and she is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Joining Osool as Chief Risk Officer in 2018, Xavier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk and investment management. Prior to joining Osool, Xavier worked in the capacity of Head of Risk Management at Hassana Investment Company, Managing Partner at Kubernao GRC Advisors, and Head of Risk at NCB Capital. Prior to coming to the region, Xavier has built a diversified experience from his previous front office and risk management positions for different international asset managers. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration. He also is a CFA Charterholder and CIPM certificant from the CFA Institute, CAIA Charterholder from CAIA association as well as Financial Risk Manager from Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Ady is the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Osool and has 15 years of experience in Financial Control, Investment Operations, and Investment Performance Management. Prior to joining Osool, Ady worked with Arcapita Investment Bank in Financial Control and Investment Administration. Ady graduated from the United Arab Emirates University with a BSc in Accounting and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Besides his role with Osool, Ady serves as a Board Member at Al Ezzel Power Company B.S.C. (c).
Dana is the Chief Legal Officer at Osool, she brings with her over 15 years of experience from practicing law in GCC, UK and U.S.A. She holds an LLB in Law from the University of Warwick and an LPC from the College of Law, London. Prior to joining Osool, Dana spent 9 years at Ithmaar Bank in Bahrain as Head of Legal Department and Secretary to the Board of Directors. Previous to Ithmaar Bank, she worked with Trowers & Hamlins LLP (London, UK) and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP (New York, U.S.A.).
Naser is the Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Osool. He joined Osool in 2016 and has over 14 years' of experience in the governance, audit and risk management field with exposure to a variety of industries, including the investment sector, banking sector & real state sector. Before his current role, he served as the Head of Internal Audit and played a key role in promoting good corporate governance practices within the Company. Prior to joining Osool, Naser worked at Ernst & Young, where he worked on and led several projects covering governance, internal control and risk management. He holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance, Certified Internal Auditor Certification, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Texas.
Abdulla is the Senior Director of Information Technology at Osool, Abdulla brings over 16 years’ experience in his field. Prior to joining Osool, he was Head of Quality Assurance at the Central Bank of Bahrain, Head of Application Support at the Central Bank of Bahrain. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from University of Sunderland (UK), and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Bahrain.
During 2017, Sharjeel was appointed Head of Financial Control at Osool Asset Management. He was previously Head of Operations, and has 21 years of experience in Assurance and Advisory services, Risk Management, Operations and Financial Control. Prior to joining Osool, Sharjeel worked with SIO for 7 years, and before that he was with Deloitte and Touche. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and an associate member of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He has attended professional courses in the areas of accounting, assurance, risk management, IFRS, banks and country risk, financial risk management and Basel II. He is a Board Member of Al Dur Power & Water Company
